Formula E

„Choose your battles boldly.“

Formula E is probably the most innovative racing series in the world. Because here, nobody knows what the future has in store. That is why – as has so often been the case in our history – we are starting from scratch, and facing a new competitive environment with the first all-electric racing car in the company's history. With the latest technology and a real team spirit, we will celebrate our debut in the field of full electric street racing in December 2019.

Only in Formula E can fans actively participate in the racing action. The Fanboost gives the community the opportunity to vote online for their favorite drivers in order to give them an additional performance boost during the actual race. Our LeMans winner Neel Jani @neeljani_official and the experienced Formula E pilot André Lotterer @andre_lotterer will be competing in the coming season for Porsche.

The Attack-Mode

If you don’t attack, you lose.

Driving through selected zones off the ideal racing line for a total of 4 minutes during the race gives drivers an additional 25 kW of power (225 kW in total). Details of the "attack mode" are communicated to the teams only one hour before the race, so they only have 60 minutes to plan their race strategy. Each driver must use this advantage twice during the race, to avoid being penalized by the race directors.
