Phillip Price hits a hole-in-one Dream shot rewarded with exclusive timepiece at the Porsche European Open

Stuttgart/Bad Griesbach . Welsh pro Phillip Price hit a hole-in-one in round one of the Porsche European Open. Unfortunately, however, it was on the “wrong” hole of the Beckenbauer Course in Bad Griesbach. Whereas an ace on the 17th hole would have earned the 49-year-old a brand-new Porsche Panamera 4S, Price actually holed his five-iron from the tee on the 193-yard 14th.

Title sponsor Porsche took the spontaneous decision to reward the Brit’s perfect shot with an exclusive gift. Oliver Eidam, Head of Brand Partnerships and Sponsoring Porsche AG, presented Phillip Price with a stunning watch from the current
“Chronotimer Collection” from Porsche Design: a “Chronotimer Series 1 Deep Blue”.

Porsche in golfAs well as the Porsche European Open, which was staged for the first time in 2015, Porsche AG has also been successfully involved in amateur golf since 1988 with the global Porsche Golf Cup. Porsche has extended its commitment to golf this year with the Porsche Generations Cup, an innovative nine-hole format for amateurs from two generations, which is initially only taking place in Germany.
